       ERA with a twist

      曾經(jīng)榮獲大獎(jiǎng)的Era系列如今有了一個(gè)新版本——轉(zhuǎn)椅,具有流線型的基座和光滑的鋁材質(zhì)感。相同椅腳和黃崗巖桌面的小桌子也新加入到這個(gè)系列中。為豐富休閑的時(shí)光提供了更多選擇。Era休閑系列結(jié)合了產(chǎn)品工藝和傳統(tǒng)手工工藝,打造永不過時(shí)的個(gè)性設(shè)計(jì)。新的旋轉(zhuǎn)椅將優(yōu)雅進(jìn)行到底,良好比例的線條和自然延伸繼承了原系列設(shè)計(jì)的DNA。例如,設(shè)計(jì)師Simon Legald采用了一樣的圓造型在制作轉(zhuǎn)椅的椅腳以及Era的搖動(dòng)基座上。

       

      The prizewinning lounge collection Era gets a new twist this autumn – quite literally. The Era lounger is now introduced as a swivel chair, with a streamlined base in shiny aluminium. A matching footstool and side table with a granite table top have also been added to the collection, opening up for new opportunities to create exclusive lounge areas.

       

      The Era lounge collection combines modern production techniques with traditional furniture craftsmanship in a timeless and characterful design. The new swivel chair elegantly emphasises Era’s well-proportioned lines and is a natural extension of the collection’s design DNA. For example, designer Simon Legald, has used the same rounded finish for the swivel chair’s feet as on the finish of the Era rocking base.




      TABLO

      Nicholai Wiig Hansen再一次為Norman Copenhagen設(shè)計(jì)了一款結(jié)合功能和美學(xué)的簡(jiǎn)約產(chǎn)品。桌面圓潤(rùn)的邊沿和涂漆椅腳完美地結(jié)合在一起,給與整個(gè)桌子純粹而極簡(jiǎn)的風(fēng)格。名字Tablo是英文和法語(yǔ)桌子詞匯的融合,這個(gè)名字意味著優(yōu)美、有規(guī)律的組合。

       

      由于簡(jiǎn)單的設(shè)計(jì)理念,這款桌子適用于任意室內(nèi)風(fēng)格,同時(shí)有大小兩種尺寸。而且它可以很輕易地徒手安裝和拆卸。設(shè)計(jì)師說:“對(duì)我來說,功能是最重要的,材料和美感緊跟其后。設(shè)計(jì)必須同時(shí)具備可用性和解決問題的能力,不會(huì)因?yàn)橥庥^而妥協(xié)。輕便、容易安裝是這款產(chǎn)品最大的亮點(diǎn)。”
       

      once again, Nicholai Wiig Hansen has created a design for Norman Copenhagen which unites function and aesthetics in a simple design. The refinement of the tabletop's sharpened edge compliments the lacquered legs beautifully and gives the table a pure and minimalistic feel.

      The name, Tablo, refers to the English 'table' and the French 'tableau', the latter meaning a scenic, organized arrangement. With its simple expression, Tablo fits into most interior styles and is available in a large and a small version. Tablo is quick and easy to assemble without the use of screws.

      Nicholai Wiig Hansen says: “For me, it is paramount that function, materials and aesthetics all come together. The design needs to both be useful and solve a basic need - without compromising the visual expression. Being easy to assemble is therefore part of Tablo's function.”

      受到古典的三維木質(zhì)拼圖啟發(fā),德國(guó)設(shè)計(jì)師Rudolph Schelling Webermann創(chuàng)造了一款簡(jiǎn)單的咖啡桌,可以徒手安裝和拆卸。桌子的基座用三條橡木棍進(jìn)行支撐,當(dāng)他們組合在一起時(shí)能夠形成穩(wěn)定的空間結(jié)構(gòu),用以支撐定制的玻璃桌面。

      當(dāng)Rudolph Schelling Webermann對(duì)這種拼圖感興趣的時(shí)候,他立刻開始了對(duì)這種拼圖基本結(jié)構(gòu)原理的研究和實(shí)驗(yàn):三條木棍結(jié)合在一起,以一個(gè)不可分割的結(jié)構(gòu)達(dá)成穩(wěn)固平衡。在這個(gè)過程中,他理解到這是做桌子基座的完美結(jié)構(gòu)。桌腳經(jīng)過精細(xì)的切割顯得更為圓潤(rùn),讓桌子更堅(jiān)毅地立在地面上。

      設(shè)計(jì)師說,“三個(gè)椅腳看似不可能地互相穿過對(duì)方,但我們的目標(biāo)就是集中在這個(gè)幾乎是魔術(shù)般的細(xì)節(jié)上。這也是為什么我們要選擇一個(gè)透明的桌面,讓大家更夠更清楚地觀察到這個(gè)最大的亮點(diǎn)。”

      Inspired by ancient three-dimensional wooden brain teaser puzzles, the German designers Rudolph Schelling Webermann have created a simple coffee table that is assembled without the help of screws and tools. The table consists quite simply of three legs made from oak. When put together they constitute a sculptural knot that works as the base for an exclusive glass tabletop.

      When Rudolph Schelling Webermann purchased the puzzles they immediately began to experiment and play with the shape and the puzzle's basic principle: three pieces of wood join together and lock themselves in a seemingly inseparable knot. During the process, it dawned on them that the form would make a perfect base for a tabletop. The legs are rounded off with chamfered edges, making the table stand sturdily on the floor and the round sheet of glass sit solidly on the base.

      Rudolph Schelling Webermann say: "The three legs seem to pierce through each other in an impossible way, and our intention is to draw attention to this almost magical detail. That is also why we have chosen a transparent top, so the table's key focus point is the joining of the legs."
